Inveraray

Inveraray is one of the most beautiful towns in Argyll and Bute. This small settlement nestles on the shores of Loch Fyne and has a long and varied history, making it a prime stop for tourists.
The town is an architects dream, with an impressive symmetrical outlook when approached from the north.
Inveraray Castle, one of the prettiest in Scotland, is the home of the Dukes of Argyll and is the seat of Clan Campbell.Constructed on the site of an older castle, it is a real fairytale building overlooked by the ancient look-out tower on the hill above.
If you are visiting Scotland for the first time, Inveraray is well worth a look.
